A small group of Seaside High School seniors decided to take it upon themselves to spread awareness about the tsunami risk on the Oregon Coast.  Scientist predict that a possible 8 point magnitude tsunami could potential be triggered off the Oregon Coast. The Juan de Fuca Tectonic Plate sits about 20 miles off the coast of Seaside Oregon and experts predict that if an earth quake were to hit it could trigger a massive tsunami that could potential wipe out Seaside, Cannon Beach, Astoria and every other town along the West Coast.  If your interested in learning more about the Seaside High School Associated Student Body Tsunami Awareness Pacifica Project then follow them on Facebook.
